Once upon a time there was the wind, the hills of Siena and a romantic elopement

In the year 2020, two lovers decided to elope and get married in the peace and calm of Siena.  Despite all the chaos and confusion that was part of this year, Sandra and Maciej decided to think about getting married in a romantic elopement in the heart of Tuscany, Siena.

As they said in the first email to me:

“Yes, we know it’s difficult time and this is a crazy idea… but we’re in love so what can go wrong? We need your help! “

With keeping the exact same thing in mind, Sandra and Maciej decided to elope from Poland in the October of 2020. The couple reached to Siena, Tuscany for their wedding, which is considered as the most picturesque medieval city in Italy and one of the most romantic places to elope.

Among the company of only 11 of their closest friends, the two of them decided to say their vows.

They said ‘I do’ in a small catholic chapel in Serre di Rapolano, a characteristic small village in the Crete Senesi area near Siena. It would not be wrong if I say that the beautiful wedding venue, combined with the affection of the couple, gave me a perfect example of a fairytale wedding, in the most contemporary way of all: a small chapel hidden in the hills, few beloved guests, and a couple relaxed, that wanted to enjoy the day, and more in love than ever… that was really so perfect!

The getting ready session, and the wedding reception following, took place at the Cignella Resort, the ideal place, one of the best romantic elopement locations in Tuscany. With a background of rolling green hilltops, paths lined with Cyprus trees, and a rustic charm of gorgeous historic farmhouses, the wedding pictures came out to be nothing less than a dream!
