Once Upon a Time there was an Indian Groom, a Japanese bride and the stunning Villa Artimino in Tuscany as background…

Naomi and Parag’s wedding was the most intercontinental wedding I have ever photographed. They got married in a wonderful destination wedding at Villa Artimino in Tuscany: Tuscany and, more specifically Villa Artimino, is an excellent choice when it comes to a destination wedding.

Guests from literally all over the world joined the couple: Parag’s family from India, Naomi’s family from Japan and all their friends and other relatives from England. All the world reunited to celebrate their love.

They started the celebration of their destination wedding at Villa Artimino with a welcome dinner in the restaurant “biagio pignatta”, taking advantage of the world-class chefs of the restaurant, who prepared for them a full Italian pizza & pasta party. For that occasion, Naomi and Parag asked the guests to wear Indian traditional clothes. Naomi herself was dressed in a orange & turquoise Saari, to pay homage to groom’s origin.

A destination wedding at Villa Artimino is also ideal for those wanting a civil ceremony with the backdrop of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. In fact, the following wedding should had been celebrated in the garden of the Villa. Unfortuntely was raining, but this didn’t took down the happiness of Naomi and her bridesmaids: they got ready all together, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, on the second floor of the Villa.

Naomi decided to wear a white, mermaid-style lace wedding dress for the ceremony; her bridesmaids wore a blue & gold Saari. How good was the color match, perfectly in line with Naomi and Parag’s idea of a simple, elegant and stylish wedding.

After the ceremony we were able to get outside for the couple portraits: every couple that choose Tuscany for a destination wedding, want touse the olive trees field just near the villa as background for the photoshooting, and Naomi and Parag’s genuine and sweet love shined in all the pictures.

Many couples decide to have a delicious lunch served in the picturesque grounds of Villa Artimino. Alternatively, if you are getting married during the warmer summer months, you could enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars in the lush garden.  Naomi and Parag chose the first monumental floor as the background of their reception: the exquisite taste of the bride found the perfect pair in the setting up, with greenery and white palette, so delicate and elegant, perfect for a destination wedding in Tuscany.

Just before the reception, Naomi decided to change again her dress, and to homage her Japanese origins, she wore a peach, silk Kimono, helped by the women of her family to dress up. For me was the very first time to see and to photograph, a Japanese bride in a true kimono: definitely one of the best moment of my wedding season. Thank you so much Naomi for let me be part of this!

Just before the full wedding album, I want to deep thank Naomi, Parag and their friends and families for the sweet and warm welcoming reserved to me and Andrea, my second shooter: I will remember you and this wonderful experience forever.

If you have just become engaged, you may want to follow in the same footsteps as Naomi and Parag: the exquisite Villa Artimino in Tuscany is a perfect location for a destination wedding in Tuscany.
