Destination Wedding in Switzerland
Once Upon a Time there was a red detail, two scientists and a unique landscape…
One of my mantras is “Life is made by first experiences”. When Elisa and Davide first wrote to me, I couldn’t believe their request: they asked me to be their wedding photographer in Switzerland! It would be my first wedding abroad, as a destination photographer.
As Uncle Ben said to Spiderman, “with great powers comes great responsabilities”
Elisa and Davide are an amazing couple: both scientists, they left Italy and now they live and work in Switzerland from many years. So that’s why they decided to have their destination wedding in Switzerland, and bring friends and relatives to this beautiful country.
What did I love most?
I falled deeply in love with Swiss landscape, it’s truly amazing: it gives you a real peaceful feeelings, with its mountains, the most green grass I have ever seen, and obiovusly, its cows. There were cows everywhere!
This landscape encourage to live a slow life, deep in contact with nature. I’d really like to experience the life there, and also it’s a perfect location to choose for if you’re searching a natural wedding, very close to nature and mountains. If you’re planning to choose Switzerland for your destination wedding, you’re getting the right choice!
About the wedding
Both ceremony and reception took place in a strange location: Sagi Oberweil, just outside Solothurn, an old mill turned into a wedding location, so old-fashioned and original.
For the couple shooting we used both the fairy garden of the location and the landscape of Switzerland outside.
I want to say a big thank you to Elisa and Davide for giving me this amazing opportunity, and to both their families for their friendhip and kindness.
Thanks to all the suppliers involved!
A big and special thanks to my second shooter Samanta!
